Taking the SAT during college to transfer: is it allowed?

Hello!

So I’m going to a state school this year because of financial reasons. I don’t know if I will love it or hate it, but I want to be prepared to transfer in case I hate it (probably to another school somewhere else, or maybe a private if family finances work out). Anyway, I took the SAT once in junior year and scored a 2030, which I was happy with and got me into good colleges and some scholarships, but I feel like I can do better and I’ll be competing with even higher SAT scores for transfer. Am I, as a college student, allowed to take the SAT and will those scores be considered?
I know I should ask each college individually, but I just want to know if anyone knows how this usually works.

Thanks!

I don’t think it’s a good idea. The SAT is meant to test you at a high school level and taking it in college would be kind of counter intuitive - especially since the 2030 isn’t that bad of a score anyway.

Yes, it is allowed
