im contemplating on taking the SAT I again in november but i already took it 3 times...will nyu frown at the fact that i took the SATs 4 times?

PS: my SAT I score is very low.....1270....i jst retook them last week but i doubt that my scores increased....

all three sections combined?

no no no! only my CR and math combined
with all three sections combined my score is a 1900
i dont suck THAT much.....lol!

didn't the deadline for nov. SAT passed?

yes....i registered for SAT IIs but i can still change to take SAT Is...

dont they have late registration for an additional fee?

More importantly, what will you do to significantly improve your score between in the next three weeks? If you've taken the SAT three times, and you don't think your score improved in October, what could you do differently this time around? Think long and hard about whether you have the time to devote to hardcore test prep...otherwise you'll just be wasting your time and money.

How does that 1270 breakdown? As far as I can tell, while your score doesn't put you in the top of the applicant pool, you're still within the middle 50%.

thanks ampersand...when i took the SATs this month i had a tremendous headache, I should have cancelled my score but my college counselor advised me not to, cuz i might have done better than i thought
anyway, i guess in the end you are right...even though i tell myself that ill study really hard during these next few weeks i probably wont...i guess my score isnt really htat bad afterall and i can still get into gsp...i hope....LOL

I'm just speaking from experience as someone who spends too much time preparing to study (buying test prep books, making up schedules, etc.) and too little time actually studying! ;)
