Taking the SSAT once

I am taking the SSAT for the first and only time January 10th. This is just in time for February deadlines. What happens if I am unhappy with my scores? Am I unable to take them and submit them after deadline? I started reading and it seems common to take the SSAT more than once. Should I be worried?

I have taken it three times so far, and I may take a fourth. My scores are fine, my top was a 95% overall, but I am still attempting to raise my individual score. Yes, it will be hard to do it just once. Normally applicants retake just to raise their score if they aren’t happy. You actually have a chance to take it one more time, a flex test. Applicants are allowed one flex test per year, so it will be useful if you are not content with your first score.

Okay thank you! Can you expand more on the flex test? When can I take it? How is it different from the regular scheduled test? @prepapplicant‌

@prepster1234 Try looking at this link and exploring around on the website, I have never taken one, so I do not know exactly what it entails: http://www.ssat.org/test/flex-test-standard-test
