If I have a chance to take two minors without additional cost and time, should I take them? I know a minor is not as valuable as a major but I still don't understand its significance in the resume and I'm not sure if I'll take two minors (I could just pick easy classes to boost my GPA, right?).
Thanks in advance for any answer.

You’d be better off taking additional electives within your major or first minor. If you’re a physics major with a math minor, you’re going to get a lot more out of a few additional physics and math classes than a second minor in some completely unrelated field.

If you’re a physics major, and you want to minor in both math and astronomy because you have plans to go to grad school for astrophysics, it would be beneficial.

A minor can be beneficial for future careers sometimes. It really depends though. A physicist that minored in computer science is going to have a leg up because they know how to program. That’s a big advantage.
