Part of the problem with a lot of big schools is that students don't really have an advisor that knows them and can guide them. I'm wondering if this is also the case in Penn State's DUS, or if it has something "special" that other large schools may not. They certainly bill themselves as providing guidance and strong advising for the undecided candidate...just wondering if anyone has experiences with this and if so, what are your thoughts?

Thanks!
