What's yo major or intended major?
From the beginning of your college learning experience, Freshman year, were you happy with the major that you have chosen or did you change it to something else because of an interest change or the like? I've heard that it can sometimes be pretty difficult to change from one major to another. Did you ever change your major of study or know someone who did, and just what was their experience like?

i came in as a biology major freshman year. it wasn't for me.

went to dean's office to get major declaration form. filled it out, got some random professor's signature for faculty approval, handed it in. After about 2-3 days of processing i became and economics and math double major.

that's it.

My buddy changed his major like once a month i think.

English with a minor in Philosophy, I'll probably end up double majoring.

I've had quite a few majors. My very first major was computational physics, then economics, then political science, then geography, then finance, and now it's Political Science and Pan African Studies, with a minor in Economics. My advisor thinks that I am a schizo. I've recently decided to keep the Poli Sci and Pan African Studies double major, because I've taken alot of courses in both of these fields, and I can't afford to stay in college an additional semester to finish a new degree. So... I'll just have to make the best of it and hope that I can find decent employment after graduation. I do plan to attend grad school.

First major was pure math, then mathematical physics, now Comp Sci major and I'm sticking with that. 8 semesters down, 4 to go to graduation.

I started by applying compsci, right before regestering for my classes (freshman year) I took pschology courses on top of the compsci courses, and the math course i needed. Halfway through first semester, i started doing well in math, and liked it too (which surprised me). So, I added in a math and compsci dual. I am a math compsci dual right now, considering adding psychology as a minor (even though i've only liked 2/3 classes i've taken so far.

I started out a cognitive psych major (wasnt for me), wanted to be an art history major (but school doesnt offer it), then switched to physics, and then ended up in Poli Sci.

I finally found a passion that I could actually make a living at! But, I am still a physics tutor! And I still love art history, now its more of a hobby!
