(some background info)
So I have a few questions regarding the TAP application, I just submitted my FASFA today and so my FASFA is currently in processing, I then proceeded to start my TAP application also today and then completed around 80% of the information needed and then saved my application and logged out which then HESC presented me this statement
(If you have not yet submitted your application, please return within 24 hours to ensure that your electronic TAP application is processed or it will be deleted. You will then need to apply via another method.)
My questions are:
-
Do you need to complete (aka actually submit the TAP application) the same day you started the TAP application? or can it be done in parts over multiple days? (as the statement says it’ll delete my electronic TAP application if I do not return in 24 hours to process it?)
-
In addition if my electronic TAP application is somehow deleted what does it mean by applying by another method? does it meant I just need to start another electronic tap application? or does it mean after the deletion my only method of applying is through paper?

In addition I have seen that some people have received reports back from HESC that their TAP application was rejected due to problems with FASFA? Do I need to wait till my FASFA is completely processed before I can actually submit my TAP application? (I started my TAP application through the FASFA after I submitted my FASFA).
