Tatoos

This could be a really random question but do you think MT programs look down on tatoos? What if it isnt visible?

Unfortunately, if you have a tattoo rolling down our arm that looks like a snake with the words "Bubba" on it (not CCM bubba).

yes, maybe it will. If it isn't visible...how will they know i's there?

I can't really answer that question -- however, tattoos would be considered inappropriate for many roles; fortunately there are excellent cover-up makeups available if you need to conceal yours.

I think the answer to the question is one that applies equally to piercings, hair style/color and attire. You want the auditors to focus on your performance and not be distracted by aspects of your appearance. Whether its tattoos, large gauge piercings, extreme hair colors or styles or even plunging necklines, anything other than your performance which becomes a visual or attention focal point is going to detract from the focus on what you really want the auditors to be paying attention to. Common sense is the best rule. If you have tats, cover them if at all possible.

I agree. Keep it covered.

And I'd say on the whole - stay away from tatoos. Even if they're in a remote location... you never know how much skin you'll have to show for a performance... or what part or your body you'll have to show.
