TAU for course completed early?

I just finished an accelerated economics course (8 weeks instead of 16). Should I create another tau and report the grade I finished with? Although it’s not reported in my transcript yet, we finished all hw assignments and the final, and I ended it with an A.

I’m an econ major, and it’s one of my major prerequisites.

Also, with regards to TAG. Since, I will finish all my prerequisites by the end of spring with the required gpa, will I automatically get accepted into my tagged school? I feel like since, they haven’t seen my grades yet for my major prerequisite courses, they will send a rejection letter. UCSB btw.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I would submit another TAU but I highly doubt this would change your admission decision since any updates after the January 31st deadline is apparently not considered during the decision making process.

I’m not too sure what you mean by “prerequisites” but if you know that you have completed all the requirements listed on the major articulation page on ASSIST and completed the other requirements for TAG (completing the minimum transfer requirements, min GPA, number of units, etc.) then you should be accepted… however I have seen some people’s TAGs get rejected even though they claim to have completed all the requirements so I would say just wait until decisions come out to see if you’re accepted. Good luck!

Send the message with the grade to each UC you applied to through their portals.
