TCNJ chances?

Hi guys! TCNJ is my absolute first choice school, and although I'm anticipating to hear back soon, I'd kind of like a more human assessment of my chances of getting in, as opposed to just looking over TCNJ's college board stats page. So here's my info.

Academics:
GPA: 3.45
SAT: 1810 (650 in Critical Reading, 660 in Writing (11 on the essay), and 500 in Math).

Extra Curriculars:
Concert Choir
Chamber Choir
Show Choir
Drama Club
School Newspaper
Student Council
Link Crew Leader
Advanced dance classes (outside of school)

Community Service:
Volunteered at a day camp for underprivileged children
Currently volunteering as an assistant dance teacher at my dance studio.

Leadership Positions:
Assistant Dance Teacher
Choir section leader
Costume Manager in Drama Club (also wrote the script for the Winter play)
Homeroom Representative
Underclassmen mentor

Extra info:
I am enrolled in my school's International Baccalaureate Program. It's an extremely rigorous academic program that is internationally recognized, and it's considered to be more challenging than AP. Essentially, IB is like having to take six AP courses (English, History, Science, Math, Foreign Language, and one IB elective) and then some with the extra internal and external assessments we have to do for the IB. If I pass my IB exams, I will graduate high school with two diplomas, my high school diploma and the IB diploma.

I've traveled to Greece and Italy on educational tours with my school, I know I have a strong college essay, and I really think I also have strong letters of recommendations from my teachers and my guidance counselor.

Also, I am a New Jersey resident, and I applied regular decision to the school of Arts and Communications.

What are my chances based on that information?

I have similiar stats to you and got in for nursing, I think you'll def. get in.

Ah thanks! That makes me feel a little better, I'll just have to try and get through the wait and see.

elake, is this a joke? Youre IN, I can pretty much guarantee it!

Thanks lol I'm just really nervous because I want to go! They said my letter should be coming any day now, I can't wait haha.

I'd say you should get in. I just got accepted with a merit scholarship and my numbers are as follows: 2030 SAT, 31 ACT, 7 ap courses and a bunch of honors, NHS president, 2 varsity sports, etc...With your numbers you should get in, considering I got in and my GPA is positively atrocious. Honestly, I must have a 3.5 right now and I got in. I'm sure my SATs and ACTs helped, but still...Now I have an issue as well...Should I go there? I went a little crazy and applied to almost 20 schools, most notably Boston U, Georgetown, Tulane, George Washington, Villanova, and Lehigh. At least those are my top couple picks. TCNJ is one of my top picks as well. I'm struggling with name recognition though, as well as location. Compared to Boston, Philly, New Orleans, and DC, the area of TCNJ is pretty lackluster. I mean, I would love to go there, but what is there to do??? Any opinions? Thanks!

Might I add, my GPA scale is not even out of 4. I believe it is out of almost 5, and I still had a 3.5. Didn't want to come off sounding overly cocky or anything. Trust me, it's pretty bad in that system. Though I should clarify that...

Hmm well Boston University and Georgetown definitely have more prominent names than TCNJ. TCNJ's reputation doesn't really carry outside of NJ, or at least that's what I've heard which is starting to worry me :/.

Also, obviously Villanova and George Washington also have larger names. I personally don't know much about Tulane and Lehigh, however.

I got in with slightly better scores than you, but I think you have a very good chance
