Hello, I am a senior in high school. My stats are as follows:
GPA: 3.2 weighted
SATs: 1900(superscored) , 23 ACT
ECs: 100 volunteer hours; no sports and no clubs, except 1. Freshmen year my robotics team won Best Engineering Design Notebook, if that helps.
6 honors 1 AP, excluding my senior year
Now, here’s my plan. It’s impossible but I have to try.
TCNJ’s regular decision deadline ends in February. This gives me an opportunity to improve my application tremendously.
Based on my senior year schedule alone, I can get a 4.5 GPA. As far as ACT goes, I have two chances; I can take one on October 22nd and another on December 10th. I also plan to take Subject Tests on December 3rd; Chemistry, Physics and Math Lvl 2 are my top choices. If I get a 4.5 on the first semester alone, my GPA becomes a 3.5, which would greatly improve my chances. Please let me know what you think of this, any criticism or comment is helpful.
Bump
Can anyone help me out? Thanks…
Is there a question in there? Yes, of course if you improve your GPA and test scores you will have a better chance. Good luck.
Sounds like an ambitious plan. Hopefully you can raise your ACT by a few points on the next date so you won’t have to take it a third time. Good luck!
@CheddarcheeseMN Thanks! But…I have doubts. What if I go at great length achieving this(if I can) and I don’t get accepted?Plus, my midterms are on the last week of January. And the deadline for TCNJ is February 1st.
