For premed, is it a good idea to go here if you do mot have enough money?
I've heard that the prestigiousness of a school doesn't matter too much in med school acceptances, so is this school a good one? Also, if anyone knows, please put up the acceptance rate into med school.

its what you put into it, however, sometimes the higher ranked school will offer a better preparation for pre med. i was going to go to tcnj for pre law but traded it for an ivy… i just feel my chances at a prestigious law school will be better that way.

i could be wrong tho

85% of TCNJ grads that apply to medical school are accepted, which is pretty damn good. The Bio program and the sciences are the forte of the school (besides teaching) so the price is right, and whether ivy league or not, the femur is still going to be the femur, you know what I mean??

P.S. Med Schools don’t care much about your undergrad college, they care about #1 GPA #2 MCAT. Those are the main things and everything else plays second fiddle.

Hope this helped!

i was accepted into cornell, hopkins, and georgetown, all ivy/ivy equivalent schools. I chose tcnj b/c of their seven year med program and the fact that if i chose one of the other schools, pre-med would be extremely difficult (and super $$$) and i might never get the chance to go into med school and become a doctor. If your goal is to be a doctor and you’re confident about it, tcnj will definitely give you the opportunity whereas if your goal is to graduate from a prestigious undergrad school (which means nothing), go for the ivy.
