are my stat's good enough? i know the biggest things are the SATs etc. but, i know i'm capable of getting those grades, probably and hopefully higher. but, i'm underestimating myself and supposing these stats are my stats.

so, what say, guys, will I get into TCNJ 7 year program?

BTW: i already posted this in another thread in the premed section b/c. i didn't know as i'm still new. so, i apologize. :)

aww…no one :(

It is hard to judge without SAT scores. But considering you are only a sophomore, this is a really good start!

Other things to look into is volunteering at in a more specialized atmosphere ie a specific department if you don’t already do so at the hospital, volunteering at a hospice, an alzheimer center, etc.

Also, keep an eye out for research opportunities, especially at the beginning of your Junior year–I know as a junior, I felt like I missed a lot of opportunities, because I started looking after a lot of deadlines had already passed.

thanks for your reply thestartingline. i don’t really know where to go for research. do you mean to a local college? I live in NJ i think that TCNJ has some sort program for high schoolers over the summer…otherwise, do you recommend any other institutions? thanks.

Well, I don’t live in the tri-state area, so I can’t name specific institutions. Ask your guidance counselor, google search, get in touch with professors you have some connection to. I, personally, mostly applied to research programs, and if you go that route, you will have to apply to quite a few, because they are very competitive.

But something I failed to mention in my last post, is that you are fifteen–explore other interests as well, while you have time. Don’t streamline yourself for this one thing without having tried other things as well.

what school is TCNJ?
