^ that’s fine. I’ll try to give you some tips if I can :)

^right now my score ranges like around 1900-2100…I am dead scared, manu…

my score is only a 2210 now (retaking in june bc writing was lower than usual)

does anyone have advice (accepted or not!) to boost my app? or advice on medically related EC’s? I don’t really have any right now, but I would love a better shot at this program.(I’m a junior btw)

has anyone been rejected yet? if so, how did they break the news (phone or mail)?
i’m anxiously waiting…

Accepted!!!

SAT 2340
SAT Chem 800
SAT Math 2: 760
SAT Physics: 800

GPA: 3.8 (Unweighted)

Hey guys who’s definitely going there? Also, is there like an official group for people who got in, I kinda want to see who else is going?

Accepted.

800s on Bio, Chem, Math II.

I’m still considering undergrad at Duke or Berkeley though. Where are you guys debating between?

Did everyone get liek 2300+s? That’s so high…I bet by the time I apply it will be all 2400s. Is there anyone who got in with like a 2200? Please tell me! AAAAAH! :(

^lol. I meant like*…spelling error…

It just so happens that high scorers got accepted. If you have 1450 composite, you’re in the running. Then you just have to rock the interviews and have the medical related activities to show your genuine interest in medicine. This program’s not that hard to get into

Are they finished with the acceptance calls?

WAN9STA - this year 1450 was not the threshold … had 1500 but no interview … i guess it is top 3 - 5% rank was the other requirement … was in top 7%, maybe hence no interview …

accepted as well :D…does anyone know if they have like, an overnight thing/separate visit day for smeds?? It looks like they did an overnight for past years, but I’m not entirely sure if they’re doing the same this year…I haven’t gotten my letter in the mail yet, just the phone call…maybe they say something in the letter?

^wansta, i mean i feel like 2300+ is hard for me…i feel like im capable of 2200 to 2300 range…but the thing is I have (not to be bragging) an incredible resume all planned…and the number of medical ecs that ive done so far, and will, are so many that it takes up 2 pages to list them all out. plus im like rank 1 or 2 in class…soo…yah…im just nervous about sats. anyone else who got in that did NOT have 2300+?

Desigirl,
The SAT scores are the first screen. Those who score high get through the first screen. The Adcom looks at the rest of the application after you have made it past the initial screen.

However, never hurts to apply. You will only be in the running if you apply.

^do you mind giving me tips on the sat and how to make myself a great applicant?

Are you guys posting SUPERSCORE or a TOP SINGLE SCORE?

WHICH does TCNJ consider? Hopefully superscore ;)

Are sat2’s required/suggested to apply?

Hi RR,

I believe they look at both the top single SAT score and the best combined.
Note however, that this program also looks at high scores in SATIIs (Bio, Chem, Calc, Physics etc).
