<p>I have a question about the teacher evaluations; I know BC requires 2, but do they both have to be strictly written by core class teachers? I’m applying to the studio art major, and though I have my current English teacher writing one of my recs, I’d really like it if either my graphics, art or journalism teacher could write the other one. Is this allowed?</p>
<p>All I read on their website were "two teachers who recently taught you". I sort of broke that rule and used a ninth grade teacher for one of the recs, but I've been in consistent contact with him throughout high school and know him better than any other...</p>
<p>It makes sense for you to send an art one because of your major. I say do it. art will become your core area for college so your work in high school art would matter more than the average applicant. I don't know, it seems logical, but with college apps you never know.</p>
