<p>Is it advised to get a teacher recommendation from a senior-class teacher if I'm going to apply ED? My school started this week, and the recommendations will be going out by Nov. 1st or earlier. Is this enough time for my teacher to write me a good recommendation?</p>
<p>Also, my physics teacher is a graduate from UPenn. Will it give me a slight boost to get a recommendation from her if I want to apply to UPenn? If so, how would the school know that she is their grad?</p>
