Today he offered me a recommendation and I feel that if he wrote one for me it'd be really beneficial to me as an applicant because he knows me well. I know that we have to submit the common app if we're a finalist, so I was wondering if I could use this third teacher to write me a recommendation through the common app? Is that acceptable?</p>
<p>yes, it would be acceptable. I believe the QB app is for QB officers to select finalists.</p>
