So I sent an email to Professor A asking if I could intern in his lab, but the teacher recommendation I attached actually addressed another professor (Professor B) I had emailed earlier. (I forgot to change the name of the person being addressed) Professor A emailed me back saying there might be opportunities in his lab and asked when I could intern, and I sent him my times, but he hasn’t emailed back yet. I’m just wondering if he noticed the teacher recommendation mistake yet. What should I do? Thank you.
I am sure he noticed it the first time before he responded at all. He probably chuckled and then ignored it. He knows you are probably sending out emails to more than one professor. This is not a date. It is not personal. Your glitch is a common one. It happens all the time and is no big deal.
