I am freaking out, my history teacher has yet to submit her recommendation. Even though I know I should have not relied entirely on her, I thought that having asked her to do so in September she would have had time (and decency) to submit her recommendation, do you think that they might consider her recommendation if it arrives by the 10th?

I’m going to say no. If you knew her well enough, you would have been able to contact her during the break. Even I (a procrastinator) know to get school stuff done before winter break.

Though that isn’t to say that you shouldn’t try. Go for it, there’s not much to lose.

I think her recommendation will be considered. My daughter has the same situation – one of her two teacher recommendations has not been submitted, and her email to the teacher has gone unanswered. Her status page indicates that it’s a missing item and says that if it’s not been received by mid-January, she will get an email requesting it. Does your status page say this also?
