Okay, I have a couple questions.
When you invite teachers to do a letter of recommendation, and you, for example, invite 3 teachers, but only one letter is required by the school, are you able to choose which teacher's recommendation is submitted? Or is every letter that a teacher writes submitted automatically to the school?
Also, is it even beneficiary to send in extra letters of recommendation that are not required? I have seen posts that have said yes and no, but if only one LOR is required and you submit three, is that too much?

You choose which recommendations go to what schools. Colleges will often have different philosophies on extra LOR’s, which are often posted on their websites. Generally, unless the extra rec will add something that is not covered elsewhere, it is better not to send.
