Teacher Recs: Ask "A" teacher or "B" teacher

Hi, I'm having trouble with deciding which teacher I should ask for my rec letter and would appreciate some advice.

*Option 1: * 10th grade AP Physics teacher.

She doesn't teach it anymore so she has plenty of room/time to write a letter. However, she's my sophomore teacher and I got B's both semester in her class. I do participate in a club she advises though so she knows me a little bit better. Plus, she offered to write me a rec letter!

*Option 2: * 11th grade AP Chemistry teacher.

She is writing over 20 letters and I don't think she has much time since I'm applying early. Plus, I've gotten a letter from her before and I know she writes really generic letters. She likes me (and I like her) though and I got A's in her class.

Will colleges think I'm weird for choosing a 10th grade teacher whose class I got B's in over my 11th grade teacher whose class I got A's in?

I have to decide by tomorrow, so I'd love some opinions! Thank you =)

Generic = unhelpful.

Option 1 seems to be a better option.

^This.

Option 1 is better.

No I don’t think so, but don’t trust me. I would pick whoever knows you best, regardless of your performance.

Option 1. She knows you best, plus doesn’t it make more sense to choose the B teacher? When colleges see you’ve gotten an A they know you’ve done well. A teacher rec lets you explain that B, either that it was a hard class or you succeeded in other ways or whatever. Recs are not about grades; colleges already see those. They’re about how you are in the classroom, and if Option 1 can talk more about that, then she’s the perfect choice.

Thanks so much for your input guys! It really helps.
