teacher recs - on & off of the CommonApp?

I’m still a bit confused on this if anybody would be willing to answer :p…

If I’m applying to colleges that are listed on the CommonApp and not listed on there (such as a UC or UGA), do my teachers/gc have to write or submit separate recommendations?

I’m asking this, because I know CommonApp connects all of the recommendations through their system

If a school is not on the Common App it will have it’s own way of submitting a recommendation, if one is required at all (some school’s don’t require them). Check the website of each school. If you are asking whether a teacher can use the same letter, then, yes, of course, they will just have to submit it to the school separately in whatever way them want it (email, upload, snail mail…).
