Question regarding Teacher recs.

Hi,
I have an issue regarding teacher recommendations and the common apps. The question I have is that I have some really old teachers with a large graduating class (1,000 +) and some teachers have already given me full recommendations already. Now the dilemma is that those teachers don't want to deal with the online aspects of the Common app nor have to spend time dealing with the paper form of the common app. So is there any way that I can upload the recommendations they already gave me onto the online application?

Another question is when applying to a college using their own application and applying online would it be possible to upload a recommendation?

Thanks in advance

This is my problem as well. I hope someone could shed light unto this.

I was thinking the same, if there was any way to upload the recommendations. Another way I was thinking was to make the accounts for my teachers and that I will just be the one to manage them on the online aspect. Anyways, I have no idea if any of the two is allowed or easily possible.

Thanks good to know I’m not the only one. I’ve tried searching but always came up with no answer. Hopefully someone could shed some light on the issue.

No. The teacher has to do it. If you do it, there is a risk of tampering.

BTW: With the Common App, all they have to do is copy the form/recommendation, and mail it in the stamped addressed envelope you provided.

So I have to mail the recommendation? I thought it can be via online means!

No, the Teacher has to mail it. It can be on-line if the teacher is willing to do it. You can’t do anything, except give it to the teacher.
