Teacher's Comments on the Graded Essay

Some of the schools that I am applying to require me to submit a graded essay with teacher comments. However, my teacher types his comments instead of writing them. Is submitting an essay with electronically inputted teacher comments permissible?

Call the schools you are applying to and ask them directly.

We did not ask the school but submitted the “tracked” document to the school electronically.
My child’s school uses google docs, so the graded essay had teacher’s remarks as edits and comments in the document. We saved/downloaded the google document in PDF format. It showed teachers comments in blue with her initials. (We fudged with the file a bit in Word so that the teachers final comments were in a separate page and everything was readable, not in tiny fonts.) We emailed the PDF file to the school.
It probably is wise to confirm that this is okay with the AO of the school although we did the most logical thing we could think of.

D’s English professor offered that he will type comments on D’s final essay instead of handwriting like he will do on other students’ so that the AO will be able to actually read them. Considering how hard it was to decipher his comments on D’s midterm paper, it should be a good idea.
