Telebears Fall 2011 slots up

RC as in regents and chancellor’s scholar

Guess I need to start taking more than 13 units…even though I’m 2 units ahead of pace

=_= What is wrong with this system.

I have 170+ units, double major & minor, an actual senior… and I only have 4/14?!

GAHHHHHHHHH~~~ AHHHH!!! WHY?!

Does anyone know the minimum number of units to be considered a junior?
For Fall 2010, I’ll be a sophomore, but I have 59.2 units.
Shouldn’t 59.2 units be enough for technical junior status? Or is it exactly 60?

I got a 5/2 telebears appointment. Is this even possible? It seems to be a week after sophomore dates start, monday to monday, and I thought all the telebears appointments for a grade level happened in a 5 day period, M-F.

I haven’t heard of any incoming sophomores getting a date this terrible. Seems pretty crappy to have 59.2 units and get basically the last possible telebears date.

4/13. Current sophomore

The latest I’ve heard so far for incoming sophomores is 4/29. You have a pretty late date. I’m sorry :(

incoming junior: 4/26. …at least haas classes are restricted… uu curse you telebears, i will have my revenge uu one day, one day :(

incoming sophomore: 4/26

how is it that most of the incoming sophs/juniors have telebears around the same time?

4/12 afternoon. Currently a sophomore. Eh, it really doesn’t matter once you go up into your major unless it is really crowded or you are searching for that 1 humanities class.

4/25 at 10am, upcoming junior. Balls. :frowning: Declared junior standing, too. Well whatever.

April 29th…as an sophomore. @_@

Late compared to others on here…

4/13 - Senior, 100+ units.

I’m a freshman and I got Apr 18, 2011 10:00 AM. I guess maybe it’s because I had 60 college credit units and AP units that transferred when I I came in?

yeah my bearfacts says: Future (Telebears) Level SENIOR

PS: This won’t affect my graduate year right, since in EECS they say you have to graduate in 4 years, they mean 8 actual semesters here in Berkeley right?

junior 4/27. this is ridiculous

4/25 (1 pm) - Incoming sophomore.

so has anyone… ever… discovered how telebears works…?

I doubt it, other than that if you have a higher class standing, your chances of getting a slightly earlier slot is slightly higher. Which isn’t really saying much.

It’s probably something like this:
Day 1 - 99% athlete/DSP, 1% >120
Rest of week 1 - 50% >120, 40% >90, 10% >60
Week 2 - 70% >90, 20% >60, 10% >30
Week 3 - 70% >60, 20% >30, 10% everyone else
etc.

For example, if you have 100 units, you’ll probably be in week 1, unless you’re one of the unlucky ones to get week 2. But you should certainly have your appointment before week 3.

I’m totally making this up by the way. This is not fact. I repeat, this is not fact.

Essentially this is how it works:
Telebears computer: 1st slots given to Athletes/DSP/Dbl Majors/Super Seniors
2nd slo-ERROR
Technician: Error? Bangs computer
TC: 2nd slot random distribution of seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen.
Technician: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU–

Incoming sophomore: 4/29 :(

ugh, i want to declare my double major NOW :</p>
