There is no such thing as too late when it comes to TeleBears. When it's Phase I, you can most likely get the classes you like. It's not until Phase II before everything gets chaotic.

From some poking around at the Office of Register's website, it seems like April 14 is the earliest.

Phase 1 starts 4/13, 2 starts 7/16

Also, to avoid redundancy, there is already a TeleBEARS Fall 09 topic regarding phase 1 and phase 2 http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-berkeley/670272-fall-schedules-phase-i-ii.html

I have junior-to-be friends who have phase 1 on the 29th also, so as a sophomore-to-be you have a good TeleBEARS

I'm going to be a sophomore next year. My Phase I is May 4. Be thankful.

guys i was never complaining, only asking!
thanks though

Upperclassman get earlier dates.

good thing is, I think they're limiting how many units you can add so you can't just stockpile (albeit it is up to 16 units)...
=

Sometimes phase I you can't even get science labs because of budget cuts and stuff.

Wow, this new change will be frustrating. Being able to at least enroll in 16+ units was necessary when waitlists were crazy. Having options when school started was good too. Boy, I'm glad I'm going to be an upper-class student next year, because this change blows. Damn budget cuts!
