jgraider is right. also, penn is in Philadelphia, an urban city with a lot of things going on. no other ivy league school besides Columbia can offer that and personally I feel that New York is a bit too much. I prefer a place like Philadelphia where its active but it doesnt take away from the campus. I am going to talk about my interests since thats all I know of but Penn. It has an amazing internship program in Washington, great art activities (choir groups, drama), and also lots of programs to get involved in the community. personally, I felt that Penn offers a less pretentious atmosphere then some of the other Ivy’s, although that might be wrong it is the impression I got.

Hm thanks Rahuja, that’s exactly what I like about Penn

City

“social” ivy compared to pretentious places like HYP but still with top education

distance (for me)

and of course, all the good things that all other Ivy’s have.

For me the reason I’m applying to Penn and not other Ivies is Wharton.

^yeah thats what brings a lot of people. personally the other ivy league schools are full of breakfast clubs and people that take them selves a bit to seriously. maybe penn is like that too, but my impression of the school isnt like that which i liked.
