<p>i wrote the main three of my essays in the last 36 hours. even though i started my application two weeks ago. </p>
<p>i hate procrastination ><</p>
<p>anyway, i’m planning to wait until about 1, and kill everyone on this thread if it doesn’t work. </p>

<p>Sigh just realized I didn’t notice the TASP app doesn’t let you do italics and I didn’t put quotes around my book’s title… D: but i submitted already. Kay… now I’m going to stop freaking about the little things.</p>

<p>Hey, don’t worry, the early March thing comes by fast. I remember submitting around Jan 10th, and agonizing every day after that for interviews, then acceptances. Comes by fast!</p>

I wrote <em>all</em> of my essays in the past 48 hours and the first 3 in the last 12. Yea, so they pretty much suck.</p>

I sure hope they like it, I poured practically every ounce of energy that I could muster into it. I made a website for the bibliography, so I’m hoping they notice it… otherwise, there would be random parenthetical documentation all over the place. (~1450 words)</p></li>
<li><p>Social Issue - Music Deprivation
This is a piece of junk, less than 800 words and I am ashamed of the little effort I put into it, but am too tired to care.</p></li>
<li><p>Personal Issue - To Be Great is to Be Misunderstood
An essay relating Cartesian philosophy to my agnosticism. I think it’s the perfect definition of me, but I’m hoping that Telluride will be accepting of my anarchist personality. (~1000 words)</p></li>
<li><p>Future Plans
Discusses how I have changed from believing I was called to be a Baptist missionary to finding my passions for mathematics and community service. (~1000 words)</p></li>
<li><p>Ranking
I’m concerned it wasn’t very concise: I wrote a large paragraph about my first paragraph, and three brief paragraphs about my second choice.</p></li>

I don’t really have an opinion… it’s pretty standard stuff.</p></li>

<p>^Yeah, I’d be REALLY careful with anything you say on this thread. If you google TASP summer seminar, this is the second thing that comes up, after the official TASP website. That means a lot (more than are posting on this thread) TASP applicants are reading it or have come across it, not to mention TASP people. </p>
