<p>Haha, I donā€™t really have a place here on this board though; I only came once to gripe about my computer crashing and not having access to my essays.</p>

<p>I am stoked. Congrats to all of the other interviewees, and my condolences and best of luck wishes to those who didnā€™t make it to this part. Oh, my goodness.</p>

<p>wow. i am a finalist. i didnā€™t proofread my essays and turned them in like ten minutes before midnight. to that person who worked hard on theirs and didnā€™t get in; i apologize. super excited though.</p>

<p>@doshisha007 and those who didnā€™t make it-- weā€™ve already established that everyone who applied to TASP is above self-motivated, intelligent, purely amazing people. What a ludicrous idea to think youā€™ve done something wrong! The selection process is highly subjective and perhaps does take a certain amount of luck as well. Getting rejected from this program does not indicate anything of your acceptances to colleges or future professional success.</p>

<p>Haha no worries. I only applied to this program because it was selective, not because I had a true desire to go. I applied to a ton of other backup programs that I hope I get into, so this rejection isnā€™t too bad.</p>

<p>I finished all of my essays two nights before, so there many people who deserve to go to this program than me. Tell us all how the interview goes!</p>

Iā€™m an international from Macedonia that followed this thread these last days (that is, the last few pages)ā€¦however, I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!!</p>

<p>so excited! congrats to all finalists. I would like to meet some of you and hear the interview experiences to know what im up to. Mine is probably going to be through Skypeā€¦</p>

I received a rejection; was a bit upset, but not as upset as I thought I would be! Iā€™m still glad I applied; the essays were definitely a preview of what I may be writing for my college essay, and Iā€™m still proud of the work I produced!
To those who didnā€™t make the cut, you should still be so proud that you completed the applicationā€“those were some daunting essays! Everyone on this thread is super smart for sure, and youā€™ll definitely still have a great summer!</p>
