haha i just now read that thing about social networking on the website. man that would suck if they found it! nevermind then

darthbarf did not get an interview. I thought I had a pretty good chance of making at least the first cut, but I guess I wasn’t what TASP wanted. My only regret is spending my entire Christmas break writing those essays… ah well. Hopefully I can find ways to recycle parts of them in school/college apps.

Good luck to all the finalists- I hope you all have an amazing summer.

@darthbarf: My apologies! I’ve edited the list…

But I assure you your efforts over Christmas break weren’t spent in vain.

Rejected. I’m hoping this isn’t a foreshadow to many more rejections coming in the upcoming year.

INTERVIEW! my life is validated! somebody cares about my life story - and i’m naught but a once-successful silent film star who, in a strange twist of fate, fell in love with the young aspiring actress who would rise to the top in the era of the talkies while i, stubborn in my belief that the talkies were but a passing fad, sank to rock bottom; yet, true love overcomes all, and here i am today, one-half of the most famous dancing duo in the land!

i just want to thank my dog for sticking with me even when times got rough!

Yay, I am in to the TASP program! Time to pack my bags; my life is now fulfilled. I am going to spend the next few months researching about this program. I didn’t really know about but I quickly scratched out some essays and now I am going. I am preparing for my trip now. What an amazing experience applying. I am skipping school for the next two weeks to celebrate.

p.s. Should I put TASP on my college application when I apply next year? Is TASP considered competitive and/or “good” I know I will like it but I fear that colleges might not regard it highly.

^You might want to wait until after the interview. :D

@bllbb6

Still a long way to go, buddy.

@bllbb6: bahahahaha, obvious ■■■■■ is obvious

Rejected.

(Actually kind of… relieved? The tension’s over at least.) XD
Oh well, still were some of the best essays I ever wrote. And it isn’t like the process is objective, so.

Oh, well. I’ll get over it eventually. Shouldn’t have procrastinated over a once-in-lifetime opportunity.

THE NEXT ONE SHALL NOT BE MISSED.

…But…

Who doesn’t do their research. ;)

I would like to congratulate everybody that got in and applaud those who applied. I am sure we will have a great time, when we finally get accepted after the interview. I am so excited, my hands are shaking. My parents are letting me stay home from school for however long I want (for a reasonable amount of time, not like a whole month).

Also, could someone answer my question:
Should I put TASP on my college application when I apply next year? Is TASP considered competitive and/or “good” I know I will like it but I fear that colleges might not regard it highly.

From the looks of it, being accepted to the first part of TASP requires silly usernames

Also people, try not to fall for Bllbb6’s bait

@rhemmingfield

I like The Simpsons…

how did you guys find out about tasp?

@jackjim956

They sent out the email

okay, just wondering. they sent me this nice looking brochure

I got an interview. I’m glad because I feel the program is right up my alley, but at the same time it’s a bother that I now have to worry about preparing for the interview. I’m also pretty amazed, given the fact that I wrote my critical analysis from 11 - 11:40 on the 23rd and it was most definitely below par. My other essays weren’t anything to write home about either… Such luck!

Congrats to everyone else who is going on to the next stage of this arduous process.
