No idea really, except that I’m pretty sure I either love it or hate it. I may apply just out of curiosity and to keep my options open. If we end up at TASP I imagine the experience will do a lot to inform college decisions, so it’s probably to early to say. I know I’m interested.

Rejected… I knew those two Asian Harvard undergrad interviewers disliked me! Oh well, I’m not half as nerdy enough as most TASPers (I just looked over pictures of past TASPs) so I wouldn’t have fitted in anyway. Maybe that’s why I didn’t get in. Moral of the story: don’t put fashion as one of your intellectual interests.

Accepted at 9:55 this morning to Cornell I! I am beyond ecstatic right now, I can’t quite put together what I want to say. More of a few phrases and sounds coming out.

I’ll see whoever else gets in when we get there. Now starts the countdown to some of the best weeks of our lives. Can’t wait to meet you all and go on an intellectual journey!

4.7% admission rate! How crazy is that, huh?

I just came across a post by a previous TASPer on this forum who said that the program let him down and that, at times, he just wanted to get away from that group of nerds and get trashed with his friends!

I guess TASP is not for everyone, and the committee is wise in selecting who they select. I’ll be volunteering in some remote exotic land, far away from Ithaca, NY, instead.
