Not factoring the obvious difference in cost, which is not only more prestigious but a better school: Temple Honors Program or NYU? I'm majoring in biology (pre-med track).

NYU has a better name, and a MUCH MUCH MUCH better location. Temple is not located in the safest area.

Thanks for answering!

If you don’t care about cost, then NYU.

Not that I don’t care, I just want an answer that is not factoring in the money. Thank you though!

The problem is that your question is a cost/benefit question and you want us to forget half the equation…
Please tell us how much each would cost (net price, BEFORE loans), your parents’ budget, and whether you’d need to borrow (how much debt?) for each. :)

@MYOS1634 I’m not asking for an answer centered around cost because clearly I know the obvious difference among the 2 schools’ prices. My question is solely comparing the programs. Factoring in cost in the answers can sway the response. That’s why :)

sigh. NYU has a better reputation, but it doesn’t matter. There are only two things that matter: how well you do in school–GPA, research, MCAT scores, interview, etc.–and how much debt you bring with you into your first job as a doctor. Biology is biology no matter where in the U.S. you take it. It’s about YOU, OP, not the prestige generated by the schools’ marketers.
