Tennessee universities funding for out of state transfer students

Hello all!

I am really interested in transferring to a university in Tennessee, particularly to Vanderbilt or to the Knoxville campus, but am struggling to find funding. I don’t think I would necessarily be very needs based, and would be an out of state transfer student (my parents live in Tennessee). Is there a way to get funding to bring the price of any universities in Tennessee or the surrounding states down to around $20,000 a year?

Contact the admissions offices at the target universities, and ask about financial aid and scholarships for transfers. They are the people who know the details of their specific policies.
