to silly101: i would love to play during welcome week...when do you move in? i move in on sept. 21

i'm moving in on the 20th.

search xcausality on fb to find me.

feel free to add me, look for tomtomthebruin, that should match to my aim screen name because my name is prolly too common lol I played some varsity sub for singles during highschool and I have no idea how to rank with the 2.0 or w.e. system.. we should actually make a group on fb so easier to join

Yeah, someone make a fb group, I don't know any of your names.

i'll just make one now then, just look for me on facebook and get in the group

sunday the 23rd
woo, im excited!

Woooooo more people :)

all thanks to me..., and kick, put me as an officer please!!!

awesome .........

Not meant to write something unrelated in this thread, but how about one for basketball? If someone's interested in that, start a new thread, or message me ..

I'm interested, but the only reason why I don't really feel the need for one is that it's pretty easy to pick up a game even if you are all alone. Tennis is a lot harder to get going if you don't have someone to play with. But I'm interested :)

Cool, I'm just looking to start another IM B-ball team for the fall.

Ah IM isn't something for me. I don't really have the competitive spirit when it comes to sports. I'm also not that good at basketball, so that makes me less interested.

I could ask my friend who is an avid fan of basketball. He wanted to do IM all of last year but couldn't get a team going. Although, he isn't going to be dorming this year, so he may find it inconvenient to participate.

Damn son, Boelter you read my mind. I'm totally down to play ball, I played almost everyday back at my old school. I actually used to go with a couple of my boys all the time so I was wondering what I was going to do at UCLA.

im down for it too, im good wit 3-pointers...although i hate running up and down the corut though

Man, then you'll hate playing at the Gym because I played there like twice and if you like competition, you'll get tons of it there. People are more aggressive and run up and down the courts a lot quicker than in Sunset's Courts.

Yeah, Altema is right. Wooden is actually more like a 4 man game on the winner courts. People don't pass the ball and it's a fast paced game, faster tempo than the Phoenix Suns! If you're not physically fit, then the best you can do is stay back and play defense and hope the ball rolls your way for steals and rebounds.

Damn the team I saw passed a lot but yeah a lot of people take their fair share of shots. The scary thing is, they will make a lot of them.

The people are faster, more accurate, and they really push you around.

When you play at Sunset you will run into people who don't even box out or who won't even push to get a rebound. I don't think you really run into those types in Wooden.

wutever happened to tennis players unite?

Hey is there anywhere on campus where you can hit against the wall?
