Test-optional + vegan-friendly colleges?

Hey everyone!

I have always been interested in US schools and will definitely apply.
As for the most internationals students, the important criteria is:

meeting full need if admitted. Despite my family wages are stable and we are middle-income family, prices are not even close to compare.

vegan-friendly. Recently Ive realised that dining services at some schools are not as good as it should be. So this factor is also important.

test-optional. Majority of students aboad do not normally take SAT/ACT.

Some candidates are:
1. Berea
2. Bates
3. Bowdoin
4. Conn. College
5. F&M
6. Clark University-?
7. Gettysburg College
8. Colby (if admissions allow me apply test-optional)
9. Pitzer
10.Colorado College-?

Any other variants?
Which oh these are generous? (Im not sure about Clark and Colorado)
Which offer strong chemistry/biochemistry majors?
Feedback about veg-friendly schools(despite Bowdoin)?

Thank you in advance.

Even colleges that are generous with need based aid do not just automatically pay all your way. Based on your family income and assets you will be expected to pay a portion and that portion may be more than you prefer. This is very common for U.S. middle class families, the expected family contribution is exceedingly high and you would not be able to meet it without having your family have saved for you for a long time and taking loans as well.

I thought Berea is for low income only.

I can’t really help. That is a lot of work to pull test optional colleges (fairtest.org), with veg friendly or colleges known for good food, as I think most are veg friendly these days, with meets full need if admitted for internationals. I couldn’t even find a list for the latter, but maybe that is true for all meets full need colleges, even the need aware ones (all but 6 for internationals).

But you are right, some of the food is still really mediocre if not terrible too many places. You have quite a few very nice colleges there. Cross your fingers for Bowdoin.

Thank you BrownParent.

I applied for Bowdoin through ED1 but something went wrong.
My TOEFL score is currently 80, an old result, and I had a an idea to retake one till the deadline. Unfortunately, the next possible test date will be December 6, so I had to change agreement with Bowdoin to RD.
It will not definitely improve my chances but is better than declension.

As far as I know, it is not easy to find such a college with no-loan policy.
My family simply does not have money to pay for college.
In numbers: 8k$ per yer is nothing in US. Even for transportation.
I cannot make parents work on my education.
