I will be sending my app in tonight. For test scores, I got a 36 on the ACT with an 8 essay. I was wondering if i should also send in my sat scores even though they arnt that great.
SAT first time: 700v, 740m, 700w, 9 essay
SAT second time: 630v, 800m, 770w, 9 essay
SAT Sub tests: 760 math 2, 740 bio, 740 chem

I would. They will take the best scores from all sittings. Depending on your intended major, they may not care about your essay score (I'm assuming math/science/engineering from your SAT II choices).

Full rides at Pitt are hard to get. Currently, based on your scores, you have a decent shot at full-tuition. You may also be invited to compete for the full ride, which is called the Chancellor's Scholarship. That requires going to Pitt and interviewing. Perhaps others on this board can give details. My daughter decided not to try for the Chancellor's after learning that 400 candidates would be competing for 10 full rides. You may feel differently.

Oh I dunno about how easy Pitt is. My son had 4.6 and >1400/1600 SAT a few years ago and he didn't even get full tuition. Admission is one thing, money is another.
