Texas A&M chances

Mays school of business

I've been attending my local community college for the past two years. I currently have a 2.89 GPA. I will try my best to raise my gpa by the end of this semester(3.06). In addition, I plan on staying at my community college for an additional semester (twelve hours) to get around 59 credit hours which are all transferable from my research. The A&M application deadline is at around January first. I'm wondering if they take my last semester into account? And what are my chances with a 3.06 if they don't take my last semester into account? Oh and I plan on having a 3.28 by the end of this year.

I was born in Europe. I speak two languages.

I made a "B" in Macroeconomics.
I made an "A" in Microeconomics.
I made an "A" in Accounting 2301.
I made a "C" in Calculus 1.
I made an "A" in Calculus 2.

I think you can have a decent chance. However, you Gpa is not desirable, so I think you should explain a little bit in you transfer essay. Mays business school is selective.

Showing a imporovement each semester is definately a plus. A good essay and recommendation is also very helpful. Lastly, get intouch with the department now. Have a commection with specific people is very useful. They can help you with questions and will also be good if they already know you when you apply.
