I applied to A&M in mid August and would love to be admitted to the Mays Business School.
My junior year of high school I moved to a very competitive high school in the Woodlands, Texas which offered AP and pre-AP classes to students starting in 9th grade. The high school that I went to in Pennsylvania was a great school but did not offer those weighted classes to underclassman. Based on the classes which were available to me versus the peers I am graduating with, it may have been impossible for me to to be in the top quarter. I always took the hardest classes possible, however and have done well. Here are my credentials: ACT 31, SAT 1340, AP Scholar Award, Eagle Scout, NHS, Varsity football and JV baseball - but only a class rank of 35%. Weighted GPA 3.97. Currently I’m taking 2 dual credit classes, an AP class, 2 honors classes and football. My guidance counselor wrote a letter explaining class rank situation and my calculus teacher wrote one too. I thought my 3 essays were good too!!
I have been under review for so long and am really nervous! Based on Naviance it shows I should get accepted - but I don’t know.
Can anyone tell me what they think my chances are and when I may hear. I check my status page 3 times a day!
