<p>hey so i applied in september and still havent heard back yet! ive been on step 3 for FOREVERRRRR. i wanna know the stats of some people who have and havent gotten in.</p>

<p>SAT? ACT? what college you applied to. and when you applied! THANKSSSS</p>

<p>here are my stats:
SAT: 1880
math:610
crit. read: 660
writing: 610
CR+M = 1270
ACT: 27</p>

<p>i applied to the college of liberal arts(anthropology!)
and i applied in september</p>

<p>p.s. i know some people who have already gotten in that have had lower/equal stats with me. both were in the college of science.</p>

<p>ive gotten into:
TCU (30,000 scholarship)
Baylor (54,000 scholarship)
UTD (some kind of stipend thing)
Texas Tech
SMU
UTSA
UIW (56,000 scholarship)
HBU (60,000 scholarship)</p>

SAT CR 740, Math 760, Writing 700. Total 2200
TOEFL - 113(iBT)</p>

<p>My application was processed on 10th of December. I got accepted into the college of engineering today! I’m still shocked I got my reply so quickly. Very happy though!</p>

class rank: 11% (i wanted to cry because i just missed top ten!)</p>

<p>im really really getting worried that maybe i messed up on my application, but everyone else accepted me so i dont knowwwww, just anxious.</p>

<p>my friend had a lower gpa than me and we had almost the same exact ECs and scores.</p>

<p>I emailed them today to see if i have to send in my college transcript for my many MANY dual enrolled classes.</p>

<p>Ive tried very hard and have been recognized by TCU and SMU for my writing abilites (i stressed about my essays for at least two months this summer)</p>

<p>any insight?</p>

<p>@friar15: Too early to be worried… No news is good news here. The review admissions applications are still be received (thru Jan 15th). I don’t think they make decisions until the pool of applicants is finalized. Wouldn’t really be fair to do so. You might look at last year’s threads to see an expected timing.</p>

I thought that we would know sometime starting Jan 15th if you applied by the early deadline (Dec 1st)
Forgive me if i’m wrong, but that is what I’ve been hearing</p>

<p>eaglemom: forgive me if Im mistaken, but isn’t A&M rolling admissions? fairness thrown out the window at that point no? </p>

<p>P.S. I’m on Step 3 too. I’ve been on it since Dec. 10th. I am just antsy is all. I want an answer!</p>

<p>I’m applying to the Electrical Eng. program. I hope there is space.</p>

<p>So my understanding from sitting thru the freshman admissions info session and asking a bunch of pesky questions, (sorry if you were in there with me …LOL) is that there are auto admits and review admits. Auto admits usually hear within a few weeks of applying. Review admits are received thru Jan 15th. Students who are exceptional review admits might hear before Jan 15th, but most would hear after the entire review pool is reviewed. We visited several colleges and I might not have this correct. This was my impression of what A&M said.</p>

<p>I applied on August(the day they started to accept admissions). I have been waiting more than you and haven’t heard from them. </p>

<p>My application was processed on December 13th and though I have only been waiting two months, I am very anxious to hear back the results.
Same thing with friar15, I have higher test scores and GPAs than some of my friends and applied around the same time, but they heard about a month ago.
Do you know if anyone has gotten back rejection/BlinnTeam letters yet? or do they do that in April?</p>
