Hi!
I am lucky enough to have found two schools I really love, but I am really struggling to decide. I am deciding between Texas Christian and Auburn University. I will likely receive the same amount of scholarship/financial aide money from both schools and my priorities in a school are quality programs, a good reputation, great football games, and an exciting social life. I am not sure what I would like to major in, but I am considering something journalism related. I will be OOS for either one. Does anyone have any insight on either school to help me decide which is best? Thank you!
In my opinion, Texas Christian is the better choice. The academic reputation is much better than Aubun, the opportunities for internships and jobs will be much better in the Ft. Worth area. TCU has large scale division 1 sports, albeit their football team doesn’t have as big of a name as Auburns. Social life is as vibrant as any other school at TCU as well
TCU is in the middle of Ft Worth. This means there’s more to do, and more potential internships.
There is good football and there’s auburn Alabama Clemson good.
If you really enjoy football, then Auburn is the obvious choice. There were many years that the horned frogs couldnt beat a team made up nuns. Auburn is in a super athletic conference that would let you watch lots of fabulous schools.
