So far I have been accepted into TXST, Tech, UTD, and UNT. I know that I want to go to one of these schools, but I have no idea which one. I am looking to major in Political Science. I am a pretty liberal guy, but I’m not against going to a school that has a different political climate. I have heard Tech can be very boring and I am worried about the distance (I live in Houston currently). I know that State looks like the most enjoyable time and that it would be amazing being super close to Austin. Would Tech and UTD be too boring for me? Would UNT be boring? Should I ignore that I could potentially be bored at certain schools? I love to party and have a good time but my education is extremely important. I am aware that UTD is probably the best choice education wise but I want to live the “college life”. What should I do? I am extremely conflicted and have no idea where to go. SOS SOS SOS
I’m impressed with UTD you might want to look into the Archer Fellowship if you qualify for the honors program.

College life is what you make of it where ever you go.
Texas Tech is in a very isolated city hours from anything. You would get bored quick. UTD has a lot of dorms, but the culture is basically a nerdy commuter school with zero school spirit. I would go for Texas State. You’re 30 minutes from Austin, and 45 minutes from San Antonio. It’s right on the San Marcos river, which is the ultimate hangout for hot days. If you’re a guy, there’s hot girls in swimsuits. If you’re a girl, there’s hot guys in swimsuits.
