Most freshmen would need these books, Revelle people would probably need all of them. I bought all the books necessary for all these classes, so I'll just list them.

CHEM 6 series, Book and Study Guide/Solutions Manual
(You need this for chem 6A-C, study guide/solutions manual has all the answers and detailed solutions to homework problems).

PHYSICS 1 series.
Two books.

HUMANITIES 1 and 2.
There are 4-5 books for each, I'll sell them in bundles or individually.

PSYCH 60, also known as STATISTICS.
A thin little book that's pretty pricey. It's helpful though.

All are in good to excellent condition. I'll sell them for less than the used price at the bookstore. PM me if interested. Thanks!

it may be worth mentioning that the chem 6 solutions manual only contains solutions to the odd-number problems, that they're occasionally wrong, your professors and TAs can always hook you up with their copy of the solutions manual for xeroxing (they also have the solutions manual for the even-numbered problems), and the exact same book can be accessed at the library reserves for free.

and never in my 7 quarters of TAing general chemistry did i meet a student who had enough time to attempt the problems in the study guide -- your prof/TA will give you enough practice (and their problems are more representative of the tests anyway).

(i just don't like to see people wasting their money on unnecessary things.)

Yes exactly, nobody actually does the problems so you can just copy out of the solutions manual. Chem is the class I've been in where homework is checked for completion. Yes the professors post the even problem answers online, but the majority of the homework are the odd numbered problems.
