<p>"Stone Carving </p>

<p>This semester-long class provides instruction in the ancient art of stonecarving. A model will be made in terra cotta from which the student will work to produce a finished carving in alabaster or another relatively soft stone.
Method of evaluation: Assessment of completed assignments, classroom presentations and discussions of the work, exhibition of the student</p>

<p>oh i had my andover interview today in sf, geez why does everything have to be in sf??- went pretty well, but not mindblowingly spectacular. plus my interviewer doesnt really think its that important. :D (the interview imean)</p>

<p>i live in in the town next to thacher..the campus is nice, but nothing like any NE prep. it's surrounded by orange groves.</p>

<p>Thatcher is a wonderful, outdoorsy school especially great for horse lovers.</p>
