First, I'd like to thank any and all of you that have answered any questions I've had and/or made posts that I needed for reference.

Second, I JUST GOT SOMEONE TO ASSIST ME WITH MY OWN RESEARCH! ASDFJKL! Crazy! The thing is, I'm going to need to do lots of research on the subject before doing actual stuff (if this all works out, of course), so I was wondering where I could access actual academic writing in biology. My local library is kinda crap, so I was wondering if you can go to University libraries or something.

pubmed for abstracts

Ask the university if they can set you up with a university account for accessing full research texts. The university library may have hard copies but most people use digital. Talk to the people in the lab about it

Unfortunately it isn’t a university but a hospital…by ‘go to University libraries’ I kinda meant unaffiliated with anyone.

Thanks

Many state libraries offer pub med and other resources.
