Thanks for outstanding AEP experience!

My son, wife, and I extend our thanks to the staff and cadets at the USCGA for making my son's AEP overnight visit a rousing success! He's already fully committed to the Academy but welcomed the opportunity to more fully experience life on campus through the overnight visit and time spent with cadets. He really enjoyed working out with the football team, eating with the cadets, and attending classes (Nautical Science and Chemistry). Perhaps the best aspect of the stay was the opportunity to interact with the cadets on a personal basis so he could get a firsthand idea of what Academy life is really like. Again, he's been fully committed to attending since our visit last July. This AEP visit was excellent validation that he's made the right decision. THANKS! again to the faculty, staff, and cadets for making him feel right at home.

Onward to R-Day!

That’s great news. As a cadet father and admissions partner, I can tell you that he will be have a great experience at the Academy, and will get an education that is unrivaled. The experiences he’ll have in his summer assignments will give him the chance to do and see thins that few others ever get to do. So far my son has been to Europe, Alaska, the southern California coast and has sailed all over the New England shore. This summer he’ll be at one of the Energy Department’s national labs and on a cutter in the Gulf of Mexico.

Rest easy knowing that your son has made the right decision. See you at R-Day!!
