That "4-year" rule for an extracurricular

^ Yeah. I think SNHS will be a no-go then. Thanks.
Oh yeah if your school doesn’t adminster the AMC, then can you take it elsewhere? :(

“I just researched Science Olympiad. NOT going to go through all that trouble.”

You sound like you’re stacking “easily doable” ECs just conveniently so you can say you’re the founder and president. What happens if you come across an obstacle that takes time to solve? What if your clubs flop at first? If you aren’t willing to “go through all that trouble,” then why do it in the first place?

I like the idea that you are taking the initiative to show your leadership skills by creating clubs for what your school doesn’t have. And if you can lead ALL of them into successful campus clubs with high membership and impact, then that will be great.

A word of caution however: I would suggest managing a feasible amount of clubs and other ECs. Depending on your courseload next year, you might need to consider dropping a few clubs so you can spend more time on school. Otherwise, if you think you can handle it, and if you can actually make these clubs into something meaningful (and not the obviously application padding-clubs that meet once a semester), go for it.

^Yes, you can take the AMC elsewhere if your school doesn’t administer it.

On another note, if you need help starting an FBLA chapter, feel free to PM me. I was in your shoes last year, so I can help you get started.
