The '11-'12 NFL Thread

no i was just using the vikes as an example, an example that’s kind of realistic is the eagles coming back to win the division.

The Smheagles are toast. I knew they were all hype from the beginning.

Being from Texas…Go TEXANS!

I think the real surprise is the 49ers. They’re quietly 4-1

solid day of NFL action. Harbaugh looked way out of line there… and yeah the surprising 9ers are 5-1 (not that I like it but still).

Oh, and the Vikings are looking ridiculously horrible… on national televsion

Yeah Harbaugh got a little into that. And I’m ****ed at the Vikes. I have AP in FFB. One point in the first half.

Well, the Vikings do suck. But you can’t deny that Chicago is pretty good. That division is probably one of the toughest in the league.

Packers are the best team in football right now, Lions are solid, Bears are good and the Vikings, though terrible, are among the “best worst” teams in the NFL.

(For Minnesota fans, the Vikings are at least worth rooting for, unlike UM-Twin-cities. The Gophers are the worst team in any BCS conference right now. I can’t wait to see Wisco annihilate them. Lol)

So what now that the season is halfway through, what do you guys think about your respective teams?

Lol the seahawks… sigh, they’re probably going 3-13 or something. This is not a good team, hopefully they get a top-5 pick! But don’t fire pete carroll :(

Daaaaaa Jets. I expected them to be 5-2 at this point, not 4-3. This weekend they have a big game against the bills with possible playoff implications. In my opinion, this week is all or nothing for the Jets. The Bills have come out of nowhere, to their credit, but if the Jets win they will be 5-3 and the Bills will be 5-3, but the Jets will have the head to head advantage. As always, the Pats will win the division, so the Jets need to look ahead to the wildcard. I also hope that Miami finally wins so they will not win the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Luck needs to stay out of the AFC East… unless somehow the Jets get him.

I think at this point its safe to say that Luck will end up in the AFC South with the Colts.

If you guys are interested we’re giving away 2 trips to the SEC championships next month. All you gotta do is like Goo Goo Clusters on Facebook here Share

lol forgot about this thread.

oh hey, the seahawks have upsets against the ravens and on the road at the giants!! wooop

The Jets’ season is over… at least I’m doing well in my fantasy football league.

man that must have been painful to watch crappy ass tebow march down the field to win the game… i really don’t like tebow and don’t wish him any success

Yea, it sucks that the Jets lost to a team with a RB for QB, but it sucks even more that the Jets have a 3rd string QB for a starter cough Sanchez cough. I am a Jets fine but I’m quite cynical of them.

dfree124-Agreed. I’m a huge Jet fan too. Sanchez has been a disappointment. I read this article on NFL.com that next year they could possibly trade for Peyton Manning. That would be interesting.

As long as the Bears don’t sign Brett Farve in the coming weeks, I’m perfectly happy with Cutler sitting out.

Here’s to hoping that the Lions win tomorrow! ;)

I need LeSean McCoy to get me some points this week.

EAGLES

Same, he almost killed me last week until he broke through for a 40 or 50 yard run
