No, this is not a results thread (at least not yet).

But I imagine that there are lots of people who will still hang around on this board even though they will have submitted their ED application (by tomorrow hopefully). So the point of this thread is to give Columbia ED applicants the chance to ask questions, discuss worries and fears, and whatever else CCers do.

And please, I do not want any "what are my chances" posts in this thread.

To everyone, have fun and enjoy life!

I'll start out by saying I'm happy because I have submitted two of my apps already (Columbia and Michigan), and after Friday I have a four-day weekend! SCORE

I have a three day weekend here. Now for the next month and a half, I will expect my stress level to be HUGE. I will be on this forum every day in my paranoid, anxiety ridden, all the way until L-Day (letters from Columbia day).

P.S
Has anyone's letters of recommendation or transcripts arrived to Columbia (online tracking)?

When I submitted my Part II & essay, i had a huge sigh of relief hahaha... the bummer is that i'll still have to apply to all my other choices... why can't ED decisions come sooner, like, in november? :P

I am still working on my scientific abstract because I didn't want to submit it online ... I wasn't quite sure since they mentioned not to send any piece of writing online ( Additional info ).

I just submitted my application a few minutes ago. Now for the waiting...

On the tracker thing, it says that part II hasn't been recieved/processed yet. That's fine right? The application said I successfully submitted it, and the main page of the application listed part II as being submitted.

interviews won't be for several weeks. hold your hosses.

i'll let y'all know when i get my first interview assignment, then you might want to start asking questions. but until then, quit with the nosiness, no one knows anything =P

Am I truly insane? Even though I submitted both parts of my application three weeks ago, I still have dreams about forgetting to write an essay for my application, or not having part of my application proofread. Oh god, Columbia is messing with my head... Oh well, nothing we can do now but hope that we get in.

For interviews, the Columbia rep who came to my school (the amazing Toni Miranda) said that you can be pretty sure you DONT have an interview (as an ED) if you don't get a call before like November 24th...

I sent in all my stuff on Monday! So excited and way nervous! I'm also applying to Oxford, so I took my entrance exam today and I'll be in New York next week for their interview and see my love Columbia again. lol
