The ACT score...

I just recently took the ACT today and Brown said they would accept the test for early decision. However, is it possible for me not to use one of my four free school reports, wait and see what I got at 1 AM, and then send it then? I don't want to send the score without knowing it's higher than my last one.

Is there a difference between sending it right when I get it than when I submit it as a free school report now?

I wonder how Brown will view it if it receives an ACT from last year that was sent late? It sounds like they are giving you and other testers a break to get your scores in after the 1 Nov cutoff. Might they just decide you were late?

No, they already have my scores in. They said they would consider scores because the November and October SAT & ACT are the FINAL test dates that would go into your decision for ED. It has always been so.

You need some type of SAT or ACT score to apply, but additional tests aren’t considered “late.”
