The AP Biology Labs

Did your class actually do all twelve of them?

My class did not.

Most of the ones that we did do did not work out.

But, I'm not complaining because I have the holy grail of lab information. :)

we did 0 labs this whole year...lol

about 2 weeks ago i was fearing the MC more than the FR, now its vice-versa

don't worry too much. Usually there is at least 1 lab based free response that is either writing a lab based around the topic or making and discussing a graph.
Last year I got a 4 (as a sophomore... I skipped too many MCs) and we only did 2 labs physically. But we did about 8 simulations online. good stuff though.
enjoy...

thanks-great site
i love the pictures of the students who wrote the labs haha

We did 11 of the 12; I'm not sure what number 12 in the lab book was, but I don't think it's as important to actually do...

i thinl ba 12 is oxygen saturation. if so, dont ever diss oxygen saturation. its more important than life. lol

Good points to earn off of AP Bio are those that ask you to create a graph. A point for correct lable, correct numbering, title, and axis I believe.

Was the respiration lab (if that's what it's called) ever on the AP exam?

We did 9.5 (didnt finish mol. bio.), and almost all of them came out badly. The only decent one was Dissolved oxygen (lab 12) the data made actual sense... We concluded that it took 9 labs to reach the point where we could do it correctly, haha... Lab-based FR=evil, unless its enzyme catalysis or photosynth/respiration... but still, lab-based FR=evil
